AGREE is funded through the joint call “Climate and Cultural Heritage: Collaborative Research to Address Urgent Challenges” (CCH 2023), launched in April 2023 by the Joint Programming Initiatives on Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH) and Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe (JPI Climate), in partnership with the Belmont Forum. This initiative supports transdisciplinary research on the interplay between cultural heritage and climate change, encouraging collaboration across various regions and contributing to advancements in global knowledge and policy.

AGREE has received a total funding of €660,000 from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), UK; Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) – Italy; and Research Council of Norway – Norway.
